The video is a recording of a demonstration presentation of how to make synchronous presentations more inclusive and accessible for all audience members. It is designed to be used alongside the resource Facilitating inclusive synchronous presentations - Education Express.
It discusses different presentation formats (online, in-person, hybrid) and their respective accessibility considerations, and planning logistics and technology to ensure equitable access. It also suggests strategies for adjusting verbal and non-verbal delivery to meet participants' needs, and how to support interaction. Finally, the webpage provides additional resources for more detailed information on inclusive and accessible events.
The presenter view video has been uploaded as an optional separate file to support accessible viewing: Inclusive and Accessible Practices for Synchronous Presentations: Presenter View.
We are committed to inclusive and accessible practices. To provide feedback on this video, please contact Ed.Connect@uts.edu.au.
